Environmental Impact Summary – Fund to Date July 2020
As part of the investment mandate within the Murray Darling Basin Balanced Water Fund (MDBBWF), donations of water and money are regularly made to enable environmental waterings to take place within the Murray Darling Basin region. These waterings have been delivered in conjunction with the Commonwealth Environmental Waterings office.
The MDBBWF donates to the Environmental Water Trust, which has engaged the Murray Darling Wetlands Working Group to deliver environmental watering services with scientific oversight and review provided by The Nature Conservancy. The active management of the waterings ensures that appropriate events are identified and allocated to each year ensuring the environmental outcomes of the MDBBWF.
