The Murray-Darling basin is one of the most secure irrigation systems in the world, and water leasing has a major role to play, especially in the light of climate change. Kilter Rural, who manage more than $214 million of water, farmland and ecosystem assets, lease water entitlements, for between three to five years to irrigators across a diverse geographical region and agricultural sectors.
