With current extreme dry conditions in Australia, water use and efficiency is a hot topic.  Since commencing the Future Farming Landscape fund in 2006, Kilter Rural has invested heavily into irrigation infrastructure, including laying 12,000km of sub surface drip irrigation.    High security water rights that Kilter Rural control are used to irrigate high value crops such as tomatoes, cotton and organic cereals on the aggregation of  farms they operate in northern Victoria.  In addition, Kilter Rural offers a range of water lease products to other irrigators across the southern Murray Darling Basin.
